Welcome to Carving Souls Counseling
Where your healing journey begins.

As a therapist, I see it every day—clients who appear to be “functioning,” but inside they are overwhelmed, exhausted, and anxious. If this sounds like you, you're not alone. The world moves fast, and many of us are caught in the current of constant doing, leaving very little time for simply being.
What Intentional Healing Looks Like It’s not about adding more to your to-do list—it’s about shifting how you relate to yourself. Here’s how we can begin that shift:
Interventions to Reduce Anxiety and Burnout:
1. Mind-Body Grounding Learning how to regulate the nervous system helps bring you out of fight-or-flight mode.
Try: 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, breathwork, or progressive muscle relaxation. In session: I guide clients through somatic techniques to help them reconnect with their bodies in safe, gentle ways.
2. Cognitive Reframing:
Anxious thoughts are often automatic and self-critical. Together, we explore: What stories are you telling yourself? Are they helping or harming you? We challenge these thoughts and reframe them into more compassionate, truthful beliefs.
3. Boundaries & Energy Mapping:
Burnout often stems from over-giving or saying yes when you mean no. I help clients map out where their energy goes and identify what drains vs. what restores. We practice boundary-setting language so it feels doable in real life.
4. Intentional Scheduling Instead of packing your calendar, we ask: What would it look like to create space? Build in rest as a non-negotiable. Plan for joy, not just productivity.
5. Values-Driven Action Sometimes anxiety and burnout are signs that you're living out of alignment with what matters most. We work together to clarify your values. From there, we craft small, meaningful changes that reconnect you to purpose.
A Gentle Reminder You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to wait until you break to heal. It is more than okay to be intentional about reducing anxiety and burnout—it’s brave.
Your healing doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours. If you're ready to step off the treadmill of stress and step into something more sustainable.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
From Surviving to Intentionally Healing:
Easing Anxiety and Burnout

But here’s the truth: it’s okay to slow down. In fact, it's essential.
Anxiety and burnout don’t always scream for attention. Sometimes they whisper:
“Why do I feel exhausted all the time?”
“Why can't I focus like I used to?”
“Why does everything feel like too much?”
If you're noticing these whispers, it might be your body and mind asking for something different. And here's the good news—healing can be intentional.
